Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Aide for Wareham, MA to support patients in behavioral health services. The role involves liaison duties between staff, nurses, counselors, and medication specialists to ensure smooth operations and safe patient care.

The candidate should have experience in addiction or mental health, be able to work weekend shifts, and communicate effectively with groups and individuals to promote recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years customer service experience; weekend coverage.
• Experience in addiction/mental health field preferred.
• Comfort speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and aid engagement to reduce relapse.
• Conduct specialty groups and document attendance in the EMR.
• Track program evaluations and report data to leadership.
• Communicate with patients and families to support recovery.
• Participate in recovery-oriented socialization and monitor group activities.
• Document observations in patient records and logs.
• Support counseling team and meet with patients individually.
• Adhere to Gosnold policies and maintain professional boundaries.
