Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. in Wareham, MA is seeking a Recovery Aide for 40 hours per week with overnight shifts. The role serves as lead liaison between staff, supports patients, and helps families in the behavioral health system to promote recovery.

Candidates should have education or training in addiction or mental health, be able to work weekends, and have 1–3 years of customer service experience. CPR certification is required, MA driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Addiction or mental health background; ability to cover multiple shifts, including weekends; 1–3 years of customer service experience; ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; comfortable speaking to larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and support engagement to reduce recovery-interfering behaviors.
• Conduct specialty groups (e.g., Under 30, Relapse Prevention, YAOPs) and document attendance in EMR.
• Track and complete program evaluations and report data to leadership.
• Interact effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Engage in recovery-focused socialization and monitor activity to uphold program guidelines.
• Document observations and participation in patient records and logs.
• Collaborate with counseling staff and provide support to the team.
• Meet with patients individually when appropriate.
