Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. seeks a Recovery Aide for Wareham, MA. This full-time role supports patients in a behavioral health program, assisting with groups, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and counselors. Initial placement is in Falmouth, with a move to Wareham in the Fall.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and experience in addiction or mental health, plus ability to cover weekends and work in a fast-paced environment. CPR certification is required; MA driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in addiction or mental health settings preferred.
• Ability to cover multiple shifts, including weekends.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Comfort speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and support engagement to reduce disruptive behaviors.
• Lead specialty groups and document attendance in EMR.
• Track program evaluations and report data to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Participate in recovery-oriented socialization and monitor patient activity.
• Document observations and activities in patient records and logs.
• Support counseling team and meet with patients individually when appropriate.
• Uphold Gosnold’s values and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
