Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. in Wareham, MA seeks a Recovery Aide to support patients in a behavioral health setting. The role acts as a liaison among staff, nurses, counselors and medication specialists to promote recovery and wellness.

You will monitor high‑risk patients, assist with groups such as WRAP and YAOPs, document activities in the EMR, report data to leadership, and work closely with the counseling team to uphold program guidelines and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years in addiction/mental health with customer service experience.
• Ability to cover multiple shifts, including weekends.
• Strong computer literacy and office applications.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certifiable.
• Preferred MA driver's license (unrestricted).

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and reduce recovery-interfering behaviors.
• Conduct specialty groups such as Under 30, Relapse Prevention (WRAP) and Young Adult Opioid Population (YAOPs).
• Track program evaluations and report data to Program Director and Clinical Manager.
• Relate and communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Participate in recovery-oriented socialization and monitor patient activity.
• Document observations, activities, and participation in records and logs.
• Support the counseling team and meet with patients individually.
• Uphold Gosnold’s values and boundaries; perform other duties as assigned.
