Job summary

Saint Therese IHM in Monroe, MI is seeking a part-time Receptionist to greet visitors, residents, families and vendors, manage a multi-line phone system, and provide directions and information with a welcoming, professional demeanor.

You’ll support administrative tasks across departments, maintain a calm front desk, and help create a positive community experience for seniors and guests, while working scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of receptionist or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Friendly, service-focused demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Basic typing speed (approximately 30–35 wpm).
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or customer-facing service roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls appropriately.
• Provide directions and general information to visitors and guests.

Part‑Time | Receptionist

Currently Available Schedules and Shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm | 72 hours per two week pay period
• Evening Shift: 3:30pm - 8:00pm | 22 - 32 hours per two week pay period
• Positions include working every other weekend and every other holiday

As a Receptionist at our IHM facility in Monroe, MI, you will be first point of contact to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors and residents. You will help guide guests to where they are looking to go and be the go‑to person for answering questions.
