Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a part-time Receptionist at our IHM facility in Monroe, MI. You will be the friendly first point of contact for visitors and residents, guiding guests and answering questions in a warm, professional manner.

You will also manage a multi-line phone system, assist with clerical tasks, and help maintain a calm front desk while balancing priorities with a caring team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of previous experience as a receptionist or admin in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Professional, friendly, service-focused demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.
• Provide directions and general information to visitors and guests.
• Support administrative tasks for multiple departments as needed.
• Maintain a calm, organized front desk while handling multiple priorities.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, team members and external partners.
• Demonstrate strong customer service to support a positive community experience.

Part-Time | Receptionist

Currently Available Schedules and Shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm | 72 hours per two week pay period
• Evening Shift: 3:30pm - 8:00pm | 22 - 32 hours per two week pay period
• Positions include working every other weekend and every other holiday

As a Receptionist at our IHM facility in Monroe, MI, you will be first point of contact to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors and residents. You will help guide guests to where they are looking to go and be the go-to person for answering questions. • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or team members
• Provide clear directions and general information to visitors and guests
• Support administrative and clerical tasks for multiple departments as needed
• Maintain a calm, organized front desk environment while managing multiple priorities
• Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, team members, and external partners
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills while supporting a positive community experience

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum one year of previous experience as a receptionist or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Professional, friendly, and service-focused demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, families, vendors, and visitors in a variety of situations
• Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic typing skills (approximately 30-35 words per minute)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or customer-facing service roles
