Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our IHM community in Michigan. You will assess resident needs, administer medications, and provide direct nursing care while collaborating with physicians, families and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will also guide and support CNAs, promote best practices and foster a culture of compassionate, person-centered care in a setting with 224 independent living and 56 skilled care units.

Qualifications

• Must hold MI RN license in good standing.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents.

Currently Available Schedules and Shifts

Evening Shift

• 6:00pm - 10:30pm
• 20 hours per two-week pay period | Five, 4-hour shifts, include working every other weekend
• All positions available include working every other holiday

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing and have a current MI RN license.
• Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated sound judgment and professional integrity
• Commitment to compassionate, person-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Experience in senior living, long-term care, or memory care preferred
