Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Michigan. The position covers morning and evening shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, in skilled and rehab units.

Direct care incentives are offered and same-day pay is available. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring resident well-being, and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• State-approved Nurse Assistant Training program completed.
• Active Michigan Nursing Assistant Registry certification in good standing.

Job description

Part-Time | Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Schedule:

• Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm | 56 hours per two-week pay period


• Evening Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm | 56 hours per two-week pay period


• Positions available in skilled and short-term rehab units


• Schedule includes working every other weekend and every other holiday

Pay Range:

$21.90 - $28.51 per hour (based on experience), this includes the direct care worker incentive. *Same Day Pay Available*

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful testing and completion of a State-approved Nurse Assistant Training program


• Current certification in good standing through the Michigan Nursing Assistant Registry is required


• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations


• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills


• Ability to carry out assignments independently and accurately


• Demonstrated sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism


• Sensitivity to resident needs, preferences, and abilities


• Commitment to compassionate, person-centered customer service


• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents
