Job summary

Saint Therese, a faith-based nonprofit senior living community in Monroe, MI, is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for older adults, supporting residents across care settings and collaborating with a dedicated care team.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of housekeeping or related experience and can follow instructions while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: One year in housekeeping, environmental services, or hospitality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and team members
• Basic understanding of housekeeping chemicals and safe cleaning practices
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines

Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 12:00pm | 40 hours per two-week pay period

Qualifications

Experience:

• Required: One year previous in housekeeping, environmental services, or hospitality experience
• Preferred: Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or similar environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily cleaning schedules and deadlines
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and team members
• Basic understanding of housekeeping chemicals and safe cleaning practices
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to effectively perform job duties
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing carts
• Reliable attendance and consistent professional work behavior
