H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming first impression for clients in our Memphis-area office. You will manage client scheduling, support daily office operations, and collaborate with tax professionals to connect clients with the right expert.

This in-person role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and discretion handling confidential information. Evening and weekend availability during tax season is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate effectively with team and serve clients professionally.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.

• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
