Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Clinical Consulting Manager in Real-World Data & Evidence to bridge clinical expertise with data strategy for RWE generation. You will support business development, build codebooks and data dictionaries, and lead clinical framing in proposals and deliverables.

You will work with cross-functional teams including biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists to ensure robust analytic datasets and compliant methods. Remote work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD with clinical training.
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience after clinical training.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to translate clinical concepts for non-clinical audiences.
• Experience using structured project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
• Comfort working with structured healthcare data concepts (claims, EHR, coding systems).
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop data pipelines and processing workflows, including AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development and client presentations by translating clinical nuances into deliverables.
• Identify new business opportunities within client accounts with senior staff.
• Contribute clinical perspective to RFPs, capability decks, and client narratives.
• Lead creation and maintenance of codebooks and data dictionaries across data sources (claims, EHR, registries).
• Translate clinical concepts into standardized coding logic (ICD-10, CPT, NDC, LOINC).
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists to QC variable definitions and coding logic.
• Co-author white papers, blogs, abstracts and client viewpoints on RWD and RWE trends.
