Job summary

EagleBank in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an Instant Payments Specialist to join the Electronic Payments Operations team. You will own day-to-day operations across Zelle, RTP, FedNow and other real-time rails, handling exceptions and guiding payment controls.

The ideal candidate has hands-on real-time payments experience, knowledge of network rules and risk controls, and strong analytical and communication skills to support 24x7 payment windows.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in bank payment operations, including real-time or instant payment rails.
• Understanding of RTP, FedNow, Zelle, and network rules and settlement mechanics.
• Familiar with Regulation E, OFAC, BSA/AML and payment fraud controls.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations for instant payments rails (Zelle, RTP, FedNow) and manage exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with network rules and operating circulars; partner with Fraud and Risk.
• Mentor team members and support Money Movement Hub capabilities development.
