Job summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Faster Payment Coordinator to ensure accurate, secure, real-time processing of payments from RTP, FedNow, and Stablecoin. You will monitor systems, resolve issues, and collaborate with teams to maintain smooth settlement.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in member/customer service within a financial institution, knowledge of banking regulations, and familiarity with RTP/FedNow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Member/customer service experience with the financial institution. Required
• Minimum 3 years Knowledge of basic compliance and banking regulations. Required
• Minimum 3 years Knowledge of operating rules in regards to RTP, FedNow, and Stablecoin. Preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-volume real-time payments across systems to ensure SLA compliance.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, denials, exceptions, and reversals.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, members, vendors, and other financial institutions.
• Provide insights for daily business updates and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Review daily vouchers, reports, and settlements for payment posting accuracy.
