Qualifications

• High School diploma required; related certifications or education preferred.
• 3+ years in a financial institution with payment operations, exception processing, or reconciliation.
• Familiarity with NACHA rules and regulations; understanding CC, D, E, Z, and J regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical, written and verbal communication; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, process, and maintain a broad range of payment activities including checks, RDC, Zelle, and exceptions.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and non posted items; support fraud mitigation efforts.
• Monitor workflows and exception queues; document findings and escalate high risk items to Risk Management.
• Balance, reconcile general ledger, clear suspense accounts, and support outage recovery across platforms.
• Provide after-hours operational support as needed; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
