Job summary

Axon is seeking a hands-on Professional Services leader to deploy Dedrone solutions and integrate with Axon systems. You will own deployments end-to-end, train customer teams, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure success.

The role requires deep networking knowledge, drone domain expertise, and a willingness to travel up to 60% to support public safety customers across international sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, Deployment).
• Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex operational environments.
• Understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, or UAS programs (relevant remote pilot certification or equivalent required).
• Deep familiarity with IP networking concepts (SNMP, DHCP, PoE) and basic system administration.
• Confident training presence; able to present technical workflows to executives and technical teams.
• Experience working with public safety agencies, particularly law enforcement or security operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for Dedrone deployments, owning delivery from post-sale through full operational readiness and go-live enablement.
• Act as SME across Axon’s Real-Time Awareness suite, supporting integrations with Fusus and DFR.
• Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams and IT staff, tailoring to technical levels.
• Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows integrating Dedrone with Axon systems.
• Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors to ensure delivery quality.
• Conduct site assessments to optimize hardware placement and RF coverage.
• Maintain deployment documentation, SOPs, and training plans.
• Provide post-deployment monitoring and escalation with clear success metrics.
