Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an on-site Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events with advanced alarm verification, video monitoring, and rapid decision-making. You will handle live audio communications, intervene in real-time incidents, and de-escalate threats across monitored sites.

The role offers shift hours from 2:30pm–12:00am, flexible 8–10 hour shifts, benefits from Day 1, paid vacation/sick time, and performance/attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years in customer service, dispatch, call center, or security preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions.
• Strong active listening and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/virtual tours of client locations, observing for vulnerabilities and unusual activities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during opening/closing or on request.
• Communicate with locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take action based on severity or instruction, including contacting customers or emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record and document interactions.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals, placing calls to verify validity.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm incidents.
• Notify individuals according to customer instructions.
• Provide life-safety support by ensuring clear dispatch to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during incidents with two-way audio to project authority.
• Handle loitering, trespassing, or other violations with de-escalation and quick decisions.
• Document interactions and follow up to ensure incident resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and interventions.
