Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Sales Associate to execute Mas sales strategies and leverage relationships with Realtors and new home buyers. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and career development toward a Sales Counselor position, including real estate licensing requirements where applicable.

You will work with peers and leadership to achieve sales goals, promote Meritage listings, manage CRM activities, and coordinate with mortgage and title teams to facilitate timely closings.

Qualifications

• Active real estate license (where required by state)
• 3–5 years of commissioned sales experience
• Computer proficient with basic financial concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prospect, build relationships and develop marketing strategies
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Embrace MAS philosophy and strategies to drive home sales.
• Meet sales, closing and customer service goals as directed by Sales Leader.
• Train under peers and leadership to learn the Sales Counselor role.
• Prospect for opportunities to influence agents and brokers within the DSA.
• Cultivate relationships with real estate agents for long-term partnerships.
• Use CRM to manage prospecting, sales and communication with agents and buyers.
• Assist buyers with scheduling appointments with operations, mortgage and title teams.
• Ensure homes, listings and communities look pristine for a quality experience.
