Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to generate new home sales by leveraging Realtor relationships and new home buyers, while delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as the liaison among Realtors, buyers, construction, Closing, and Title teams across Meritage communities.

You will drive traffic, present plans, and guide buyers through the purchase process, including paperwork, financing, and scheduling, to ensure a smooth closing and a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Experience in new home sales strongly preferred (1+ year).
• Real estate license may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals with leadership.
• Maintain Realtor relationships to develop long term partnerships.
• Connect homebuyers with Realtors and guide through the process.
• Manage visual appearance of communities for quality guest experiences.
• Present and explain Meritage Homes Purchase Agreement and financing basics.
• Solicit new and referral business using Salesforce.com.
• Coordinate appointments with design, mortgage, and title teams.
• Ensure timely buyer paperwork and internal reporting.
• Communicate loan status and expedite processing and closing.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and perform assigned duties.
