Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Real Estate FaaS Supervisor in Boston, MA to manage hands-on accounting tasks and client engagements. You will lead month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting activities within a private-equity–style real estate service environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and experience with property managers, with opportunities to advance within a growing practice. A discretionary bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience with property-level accounting and finance functions.
• Experience working with property managers to resolve issues and explain variances.
• Expertise in Real Estate technology systems (Yardi, MRI, etc.).
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key contact for Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Month End Close cycles.
• Lead client engagements and coach staff.
• Support month-end close and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and budget-vs-actual analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients.
• Oversee billing and collections of client services invoices.
