Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance as a Service (FaaS) Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and financial operations for a portfolio of clients in a fast-paced shared services environment. You will coordinate month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting while leveraging cloud-based technology.

The role emphasizes coaching teams, partnering with clients at CEO/CFO levels, and driving process improvements using Yardi, MRI, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA is required or in-process.
• Experience performing and reviewing property-level accounting and finance functions required.
• Experience with property managers to resolve accounting issues and explain variances.

Responsibilities

• Overall day-to-day management of accounting and finance functions for multiple clients in shared services, in Controller role.
• Work in client tech environments and within the FaaS stack.
• Lead, coach, and supervise client services staff.
• Review monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
