Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance as a Service (FaaS) Manager in Dallas to lead accounting and finance functions across multiple private middle-market clients. You will manage teams, own month-end close, financial reporting, and budget/forecast support while leveraging cloud-based technology stack.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and CPA in progress or equivalent experience, with strong GAAP knowledge and real estate accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• CPA is required or in-process
• Experience at the Controller level of a real estate asset manager leading a team through month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience performing and reviewing property-level accounting and finance functions required
• Experience working with property managers to resolve accounting issues and explain variances

Responsibilities

• Overall day-to-day management of the accounting and finance functions of multiple clients in a shared services environment playing the Controller role
• Work in client technology environments as well as within the FaaS tech stack
• Participate in client design sessions to analyze requirements and redesign business processes
• Lead, manage and coach client services representatives and supervisors
• Review monthly financial statements including variance analysis and budget-vs-actual
• Write service agreements and statements of work
