Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• CPA certification is required or in-process.
• Experience at the Controller level of a real estate asset manager.
• Experience with property managers to resolve accounting issues and explain variances.
• Strong GAAP and real estate accounting knowledge; FP&A experience helpful.
• Excellent communication across all levels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting and finance functions for multiple real estate clients.
• Manage client technology environments and the FaaS tech stack.
• Analyze requirements and redesign business processes per FaaS best practices.
• Coach and supervise client services staff and managers.
• Review monthly financials, variance analysis, and budgets.
• Provide actionable insights and improve month-end close efficiency.
• Define engagement budgets and manage engagement economics.
• Prepare service agreements and statements of work.
