Job summary

Off The Hook Restaurants is seeking a Prep Cook to set the tone for our kitchen and ensure all dishes meet our high standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with your team to deliver premium Cajun dishes with efficiency.

Responsibilities include station setup, food prep, cooking, sanitation, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Must have 1 year restaurant experience, be at least 16, and complete company training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience required.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow GM's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
