Job summary

Off The Hook is hiring a Prep Cook to set the tone in our fast-paced Cajun kitchen, ensuring all food meets our high standards and quality expectations. As a Prep Cook you will set up stations, prepare ingredients, and assist in delivering premium Real Cajun Real Fast dishes.

You will maintain cleanliness, support teammates, and help create a welcoming dining experience for guests. Requirements include 1 year restaurant experience, ability to work various shifts including days and weekends, and

Qualifications

Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
Restaurant experience is preferred for a Prep Cook role.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report and follow GM's instructions.
Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
Stock inventory appropriately.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe handling practices.
Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
