Job summary

Off The Hook Restaurants is seeking a Prep Cook to set the tone for a fast-paced Cajun kitchen, ensuring all dishes meet premium Real Cajun Real Fast standards. You will work with a team to keep stations stocked, prepare ingredients, and help deliver consistent, high-quality meals in a busy environment.

You’ll join a restaurant that values teamwork, cleanliness, and safety in every service. Candidates should be 16+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and complete company training programs to start.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be change
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow GM's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food‑handling practices
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
