Job summary

Off The Hook is seeking a Prep Cook to help deliver our Real Cajun Real Fast dishes in a fast-paced kitchen. You'll set up stations, prep ingredients, cook menu items in coordination with the team, and maintain a clean, organized area to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires 1 year of restaurant experience, detail orientation, and flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays. You must be 16+, complete company training, and bring a positive, professional attitude to every shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow GM's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
