Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an HAA Pilot for a full-time helicopter air-ambulance role with REACH. You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely, ensuring aircraft readiness and strict compliance with FAR/REACH standards.

The position offers a base salary range of $110,949–$122,044 with a 25% geographic modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and retention bonuses. A 7/7 schedule and on-duty housing are included as incentives.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required or preferred.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight experience as stated: total and helicopter hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients with a team of medical professionals.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR/REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
• Coordinate shift changes and recording of REACH changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Incentives

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successivepilotandteamfollowingprotocol forrecordingA REACH change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

• Helicopter instrument rating

• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours

• 1,500 Helicopter Hours

• 1,000Helicopter PICHours

• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours

• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided

• 75 Helicopter Instrument Hours with 50 in aircraft

• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft

• EC135/H135 Aircraft Experience

• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
