Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot for a full-time REACH position. You will transport patients safely with a team of medical experts, ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and FAR/REACH requirements, and maintain accurate regulatory documentation.

The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and substantial flight hours. Competitive compensation includes sign-on and retention bonuses, plus on-duty housing.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• 200 helicopter night hours.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals, including FAR and REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for REACH change board.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $119,825 - $131,807 including 35% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 5K SPIFR Stipend
• 12K Area Float Pilot Stipend
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule
