Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot for full-time service. You will join a team to transport patients safely to and from locations, maintaining strict compliance with REACH and FAR requirements.

Qualified candidates hold a rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and required flight hours. The role includes a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing, and competitive incentives including sign-on and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours; 2,000 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours; 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum 100 hours instrument flight; 200 night hours.
• Maximum 230 lb weight with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

We're hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

• Salary Range: $119,825 - $131,807 including 35% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 5K SPIFR Stipend
• 12K Area Float Pilot Stipend
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping

Minimum Requirements
