Job summary

MeBe is hiring a Behavior Technician in Carlsbad, CA. You will work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, implementing therapy plans under supervision, and recording progress in our data system. Paid RBT training and shadowing with supervisors are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT within 45 days of employment with MeBe support

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in 1:1 setting
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments
• Accurately record progress in Central Reach using assigned tablet
• Clock in/out and document session notes to meet ABA and insurer requirements
• Help keep the workplace safe, organized, and compliant with policies
• Assist with lunch/bathroom/diaper duties as needed
• Support site director and clinical supervisors with tasks and projects
• Raise concerns to supervisors and contribute to treatment planning
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries
• Contribute to MeBe Family culture
