Job summary

MeBe Family in Los Angeles is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA-based therapy to children with autism in home or at our Learning Center. You will follow BCBA-approved treatment plans, record progress in Central Reach, clock in/out precisely, and help with lunch and daily routines.

The role offers paid training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities to advance in behavior analysis.

Qualifications

• Part-time shifts available with Monday–Friday availability.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT/CBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
• Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, sit, stand, and run; good vision and hearing with aids.
• Background check and ability to work with computers.
• If residing in San Diego, AZ, or VA, CPR/BLS certification before working with clients.
• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in home or MeBe’s Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs to support assessments.
• Record the kiddo’s behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach.
• Clock in/out and align with ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
• Keep the workplace safe, organized, and shipshape.
• Assist with lunch, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes.
• Support Site Director and Clinical Supervisors with tasks.
• Voice questions and concerns to supervisors and contribute to treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
