Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking an RBT to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement intervention plans and collect progress data under supervision, ensuring safety and engagement during sessions.

The role requires an active RBT certification, a high school diploma (bachelor’s in psychology, education, or related field a plus), and reliable transportation to travel between settings. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s in psychology/education or related field is a plus.
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
