Job summary

Alkermes seeks a Territory Business Manager for the Richmond area to drive sales of Alkermes products and support promotional efforts for sleep-disorder therapies. You will educate healthcare providers, build target lists, and develop business plans in collaboration with the Regional Business Director.

Travel up to 80% may be required; strong selling skills and disease knowledge are essential. We offer a base salary of $150,000–$185,000 with a performance bonus of up to $50,000 and long-term

Qualifications

• BA/BS required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
• Must reside within 25 miles of target customers.
• Ability to travel up to 80% (including overnight).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products and disease states in the marketplace.
• Apply selling skills using approved aids and studies to increase product use with targeted providers.
• Maintain and update healthcare provider target lists with current data.
• Utilize Promotional Speaker Programs and other resources to grow business and discuss territory plans with RBD.
• Develop and execute business plans, handling administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Exercise fiscal control of operating expenses (car, gas, lodging, etc.).
• Collaborate with colleagues in related roles (Nurse Care Navigators, National Account Directors, etc.).
• Adhere to Alkermes policies and promotional compliance.
