Job summary

Alkermes seeks a Territory Business Manager for the Seattle territory to grow sales of sleep-disorder therapies. You will educate healthcare providers, build territory plans, and collaborate with the Regional Business Director to achieve territory goals.

Candidates should have 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, a BA/BS, and be willing to travel up to 80%. Base salary ranges $150,000–$185,000 with bonus opportunities and long‑term incentives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required.
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography.
• Driver's license must be in good standing.
• Must be able to demonstrate or secure appropriate credentialing, as may be required by healthcare providers for physical access to their facilities.
• The ability to travel, which may include overnight / weekend travel, up to 80% of the time, is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of Alkermes products, disease states, and related products.
• Demonstrate strong selling skills using approved aids and studies; build provider relationships.
• Maintain territory target lists with frequency to ensure appropriate product use.
• Utilize available resources to increase business and discuss territory with RBD as needed.
• Develop business plans as required by the RBD and perform administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, office supplies, telephone, postage, lodging, meals).
• Collaborate with other reps, Field Reimbursement Managers, NDs, Nurse Care Navigators and HQ personnel.
• Abide by Alkermes policies and promotional compliance.
