Job summary

Alkermes in Richmond is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive sales for sleep-disorder products, educate healthcare providers, and execute territory plans under the Regional Business Director. You will apply product knowledge and sales skills to achieve targets while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, a BA/BS, and the ability to travel up to 80% within the territory.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography.
• Driver's license must be in good standing.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Must be able to secure appropriate credentialing for access to facilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products and related disease states.
• Utilize selling skills and approved materials to educate healthcare providers.
• Develop and maintain territory targets lists and call on appropriate providers with frequency.
• Discuss territory business with Regional Business Director and participate in promotional activities.
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses and complete administrative tasks accurately.
