Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new rare disease GI/Hepatology team in Fredericksburg, VA.

You will develop and execute territory strategies, build professional relationships with physicians, and drive sales in a compliant, autonomous, and entrepreneurial capacity. The role emphasizes data-driven planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication of therapeutic value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of documented top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory is preferred.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and apply it to communication.
• Self-motivated with a high level of autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize opportunities.
• Navigate a matrixed selling environment via cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify key influencers and manage customer interaction expectations.
• Utilize data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Support the company’s DSE and brand strategy within the geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Comply with legal, regulatory and compliance policies with integrity.
• Perform additional duties as required.
