Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Specialty Development Executive to cover Waco, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso, TX. The role targets genetics providers, neurologists, cardiologists, and pediatric subspecialists within Rare Disease.

You will build pipelines, forecast opportunities, and close deals while collaborating with the broader sales organization. Involves significant travel and in-person physician engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma and 5+ years in medical outside sales.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences and 3+ years selling laboratory, diagnostics, or medical device solutions.
• Experience supporting rare disease, genetics, cardiology, neurology, or pediatric subspecialty markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell laboratory testing services to clinicians in Rare Disease spaces.
• Meet/exceed sales goals and territory growth.
• Develop and execute annual business plan with quarterly updates.
• Forecast and manage sales funnel to meet quarterly quotas.
• Travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
• Collaborate with Labcorp Clinical Sales and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and provide customer education.
