Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Specialty Development Executive, Rare Disease to join our Arizona, Utah and New Mexico territory. You will sell laboratory testing services to Rare Disease specialists, build an annual business plan, and develop a strong sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and yearly targets.

This role demands outside medical sales experience, the ability to interpret complex clinical data, collaboration with clinical teams, and readiness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma plus 5+ years of medical outside sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred and experience with Rare disease markets.
• Strong communication and ability to interpret clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Sell laboratory testing services to professionals in Rare Disease space.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and grow territory.
• Develop annual business plan with quarterly updates.
• Cold call and build sales pipeline.
• Forecast and maintain sales funnel aligned to 90-day quota.
• Travel up to 75% to meet customers and opportunities.
