Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Account Manager - Rare Disease to represent UPLIZNA and drive product demand across a designated geography. You will manage accounts, coordinate with field teams, and educate healthcare professionals on disease state and product information, while striving to exceed sales goals.

This role requires strong account management skills, extensive collaboration with patient services and market access teams, and willingness to travel up to approximately 80% with flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales or hospital sales experience
• Associate degree with 6+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales or hospital sales experience
• High school diploma with 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales or hospital sales experience
• Preferred: experience in rare/specialty disease states and buy-and-bill models

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen products to physicians and health care professionals
• Manage accounts within a territory to achieve sales goals
• Coordinate with field teams to address account needs and reimbursement
• Educate healthcare professionals on disease states and product information
• Contribute to territory business planning and budgeting
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
