Job summary

Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Time Critical Logistics Coordinator to facilitate domestic and international air freight. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently, compliantly, and cost effectively from origin to destination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics coursework preferred.
• 2+ years freight forwarding experience.
• Experience in import/export, customs, and international logistics preferred.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar TMS.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international air freight shipments.
• Manage end-to-end forwarding from initiation to delivery.
• Enter data in CargoWise TMS and schedule pickups, deliveries, and routing.
• Prepare shipping documents including B/Ls, invoices, packing lists.
• Communicate shipment status with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Track cargo to ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery.
• Support import/export compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless shipments.
• Identify and resolve delays and document issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in systems.
