Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building exteriors, interiors, and common areas meet our high standards of safety and appearance. You will respond to resident service requests, complete make-readies, and coordinate with vendors when needed.

You should have a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and EPA refrigerant certifications. We value reliability, safety, and excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Licenses: Current Valid Driver's License.
• Certifications: EPA Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling as well as all certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Physical: Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds independently and 150 pounds with assistance; ability to stand, walk, climb, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24–48 hours and performs routine property upkeep.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling needed repairs.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing components instead of replacing parts where feasible.
• Manages materials and inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents work orders and inspections accurately and promptly.
• May inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Attends safety meetings and completes required OSHA training.
• Provides respectful, responsive customer service to residents and team members.
• Assists with routine property inspections to identify safety or maintenance needs.
