Job summary

RangeWater Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle property upkeep, make-readies, and resident service across our communities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage vendor coordination to keep units rental-ready and safe.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and experience with property management software. A collaborative environment and training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Type I/II (or Universal) refrigerant certification required.
• Proficiency in property management software (Entrata/Yardi, OneSite).

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders within 24–48 hours.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Assist cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts.
• Manage materials from maintenance shop and track inventory.
• Document work orders accurately for records.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality.
• Follow safety policies and complete required training.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with property inspections and communicate needs to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
