Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will maintain interior and exterior areas, respond to work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-readies for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification, a high school diploma, 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience, and proficiency with property management software (Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years of apartment maintenance preferred.
• EPA certifications: Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from residents within 24–48 hours and perform routine property maintenance.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists.
• Repair components to fix rather than replace when possible to save costs.
• Document work and materials, track inventory, and report needs to supervisor.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain safety practices per OSHA and company policies.
