Job summary
GCG Connectivity & Power Solutions is seeking a Rail & Transit Territory Sales Manager to cover an Eastern U.S. region. This remote role requires about 60% travel to customer sites and a location within the territory.
You will guide OEMs, engineers, and procurement teams on tailored connectivity and cable solutions, drive strategic accounts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet rail project goals. Strong sales process and technical aptitude are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; related experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 7 years in technical sales or sales management, with rail & transit experience preferred.
- Proven track record engaging with engineers, technical buyers and OEM project teams.
- Demonstrated success in territory development and consultative sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth within defined Eastern U.S. territory, expanding OEM, engineering and procurement relationships.
- Lead project-based and contract-based opportunities for wayside cable systems and rail connectivity.
- Apply structured sales process to identify opportunities and close deals in assigned accounts.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with sourcing, engineering, and operations teams.
