Job summary

Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, DPC in Forest Hills, NY is seeking a Project Manager for Rail Transit & NYCT programs. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality on design‑build rail projects, act as owner’s representative, and lead a multi‑discipline team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years of relevant management and project leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business Management is required.
• PE/RA/CCM certification preferred.
• Experience with design‑build/construction within an operating rail transit system.
• Strong knowledge of rail industry codes, standards, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality of rail transit projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate engineering and inspection services and maintain client/subcontractor relationships.
• Review design documents, conduct constructability reviews, and approve reports and documentation.
• Lead project team and act as owner’s representative in meetings and negotiations.
• Travel to project sites as needed and support change orders and cost estimates.
