Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies under provider orders, delivering safe, high-quality imaging in a fast-paced setting.

You will document encounters in the EMR, choose appropriate technical factors, and collaborate with care teams while maintaining sterile technique. Some travel to off-site facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified technologist; state licensure preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain prior to direct patient care.
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform provider-ordered radiographic exams with proper patient positioning and safety.
• Set up equipment, immobilization devices, and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient encounters in EMR.
• Select correct electronic factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Travel to other facilities as needed; assist in labs and orders.
• Maintain sterile technique and report equipment issues.
• Assist with registration, scheduling, and other duties as needed.
