Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates in Wallingford, CT, is seeking a full-time Radiology Scheduling Agent to handle inbound and outbound calls for scheduling radiology and MRI exams across multiple imaging modalities. The role follows established workflows, scripting, and provides ongoing training.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, totaling 40 hours weekly, on-site in Wallingford. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for well-qualified

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Healthcare-related customer service and scheduling preferred.
• Experience being accountable for call center metrics preferred (answer time, average handle time, return to queue).

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from offices and patients requesting to schedule radiology or MRI exams.
• Make outbound calls to patients and offices to schedule radiology and MRI exams.
• Proficiently schedule patients for multiple imaging modalities across service locations following established protocols, workflows, and scripting.
• Maintain up-to-date training and reference materials and stay in a state of continuous learning.
• Meet or exceed departmental call center metrics and individual performance criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on organizational needs.
