Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates seeks a full-time Outpatient Scheduling Agent for Wallingford Imaging, primarily on 1st shift. You will manage schedules across imaging modalities, schedule patients, handle registrations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to scheduling protocols. Competitive compensation is offered based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience providing healthcare-related customer service and scheduling preferred.
• Experience with call-center metrics preferred (answer time, handle time, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maximize schedule utilization by actively managing office schedules and filling open appointment slots.
• Schedule patients across multiple imaging modalities at all MRA service locations.
• Obtain and enter demographic and insurance data for patient registrations.
• Explain financial requirements and collect insurance co-pays as applicable.
• Coordinate with departments, carriers, and referring offices to verify information.
• Provide reports and images on CD to patients or offices.
• Deliver professional, compassionate customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
