Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Patient Scheduler 2 to provide exceptional patient service by phone, coordinating scheduling for diagnostic procedures across UHealth. You will verify demographics and insurance, educate patients on exam prep, and work with referring physicians and radiology staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules complex exams and coordinates diagnostic procedures across modalities.
• Answers high-volume phone calls and educates patients on exam preparation.
• Collects and verifies demographic and insurance information for scheduling.
• Coordinates with physicians, radiologists, technologists and patients to ensure timely exams.
