Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring for a patient access role in the Radiology Scheduling - Call Center. You will register patients, schedule appointments, and coordinate information across departments to ensure timely care.

You will handle calls, triage needs, and document data accurately while maintaining patient privacy. The position emphasizes high-volume call handling, excellent service, and strict HIPAA compliance, with onsite work, daytime hours, and comprehensive benefits.Training provided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or patient-facing environment preferred.
• Experience using Epic EMR system preferred.
• Medical Terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Documents patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information for hospital registration and scheduling.
• Answers telephone, triages calls, and leaves accurate messages with professional customer service.
• Provides basic information and instructions to patients regarding the practice and hospitals.
• Obtains patient information required by providers prior to appointments and ensures medical records are available.
• Transcribes call, referral, and scheduling information in multiple systems accurately.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
